Audrey Chandler, Music Theory instructor
In addition to working as SFGC’s Chorus Operations Manager, Audrey Chandler is a Music Theory Instructor for singers in Ensembles C and D. A Bay Area native and SFGC alum, Audrey is passionate (read: nerdy) about all things music theory and enjoys sharing that passion with the next generation of SFGC singers. Audrey graduated with a B. A. in Music from the University of California, Berkeley in May 2024. She had the honor of receiving the Matthew William Fisher Memorial Award in Music (Departmental Citation) upon graduating from the program. Outside of SFGC, Audrey has had the pleasure of working behind the scenes with Opera Parallèle, Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, Music at Kohl, and other San Francisco arts organizations. She also volunteers in the AP Music Theory classroom at Berkeley High School. In her spare time, Audrey can be found roller skating, rock climbing, and playing Debussy preludes on the piano.
