About Afenginn and Maggie Bjorklund: Composer and front man in Afenginn, Kim Nyberg, has a strong Nordic voice in his compositions that encompasses classical composition techniques, Scandinavian folk music and the odd meters of eastern European music. This very evocative style has won Nyberg and Afenginn several Music Awards through the years and the trademark of Afenginn is surprising and beautiful music and superb live performances. Maggie Bjorklund’s exceptional and poetic pedal steel playing is an interesting link between Denmark and the US as she has been touring extensively in the US as soloist and with American artists, such as Jack White.
