Tomorrow’s Memories Community Book Club

San Francisco Girls Chorus is proud to be working in part with the San Francisco Public Library to hold the launch event for our community book club centering around Tomorrow’s Memories by Angeles Monrayo Raymundo, the true diary of Monrayo, a Filipina girl who immigrated to Hawaii and California in the 1920’s. The Diary is the inspiration for a new choral opera by Dr. Matthew Welch, commissioned by SF Girls Chorus and set to premiere in San Francisco in 2022.
